About the Role

As a Technical Risk Analyst within Tech Risk and Enablement (TRE), you will design frameworks that enable risk management at scale and lead initiatives to identify emerging risks across technology, including those introduced by new AI tools and platforms. Partnering with subject matter experts, you will assess control effectiveness and help implement practical solutions that ensure risks are managed effectively and remain within the firm’s appetite.

You’ll play a central role in helping technology functions identify, own, and manage risk effectively, balancing risk and reward to achieve operational excellence while supporting innovation. Acting as a bridge between engineering teams and senior technology leadership (CTOs), you will provide regular risk reporting and insights that inform decision-making. This feedback loop will give you the context to influence teams on the ground and ensure alignment between strategy and execution.

What You’ll Do

• Support technology teams in managing risks in line with our risk appetite.

• Provide clear risk reporting and insights to senior management, strengthening decision-making.

• Facilitate incident reviews, process deep dives, and cross-team projects to drive improvements.

• Surface emerging risks and recurring themes, helping teams address them proactively.

• Collaborate with risk and control functions to strengthen frameworks and consistency.

Who You Are

• 5+ years’ experience in technology risk, IT operations, or operational risk management.

• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

• Comfortable engaging with senior leaders while influencing engineering teams.

• Pragmatic, collaborative, and resilient in a fast-paced environment.
