Senior Management Accountant

As a member of the Management and Performance Reporting Team, you will work closely with the wider Finance Team and other business departments to provide accurate, relevant and timely information to stakeholders. WHAT YOU’LL DO:
Your main responsibilities will include:
- Supporting the Finance Manager and team to achieve efficient and accurate monthly / quarterly management reporting, including variance analysis and commentary
- Identifying continuous improvement opportunities in processes, controls and workpapers, and ensuring these are well documented
- Applying best practice to preparation of Management Information and the Annual Business Plan for multiple entities across APAC
- Develop strong relationships with key stakeholders across the business to provide information that supports business decision making and ad hoc requests
- Review of general ledger data and applying a critical mindset to analyse the information
- Proactive collaboration with the broader Finance and Accounts Payable teams to ensure accuracy in all management reporting
- Assist with building and maintaining management reports
- Coordinating regional APAC reporting through collaboration with other local offices (Singapore, China and Taiwan)
- Opportunity to contribute to various projects and technology change initiatives
- Supporting Group Finance reporting (monthly and quarterly)
WHAT YOU’LL NEED:
A keen interest in financial markets and wish to broaden your experience in financial services. With 5+ years’ professional experience you will be able to provide clear examples of operating successfully in a fast-paced environment, driving change programs, analysing financial information and providing management insights and solutions.
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Commerce or Business
- 5+ years’ experience in a FP&A, financial control role and / or business services background
- CA/CPA qualified or international equivalent
- Experience with accounting systems (NetSuite experience is a plus), BI tools (e.g. Tableau) and advanced Excel skills
- Keen interest in management accounting / performance reporting, with demonstrated experience in advisory and practical application
- Strong data analytical skills and attention to detail, whilst applying a commercial and questioning mindset
- Demonstrated experience in process and system improvements, including technology change initiatives
- Strong controls awareness, including working with control frameworks and improvements
- Commitment to high standards, producing quality outputs and delivering excellent customer service
- Hands-on experience in preparing management reports and business plans to various levels of management
- Ability to manage finance processes including timetables, workpapers and dashboards
- Excellent written, verbal and presentation skills, with ability to package information clearly and concisely
- Strong business acumen, commercial judgement and stakeholder management skills. Focus on value add
