We are looking for a Graduate Market Risk Analyst to join our ambitious, results-driven Risk team who focus on analysing and improving our Trading risk framework. The ideal candidate has an affinity for financial markets and a strong quantitative and technical background. As a Market Risk Analyst, you will work closely with the Traders to support the development and improvement of our risk systems, methodologies and limits.

What You'll Do:

• Assisting in the enhancement of risk processes by identifying and evaluating business-critical exposures
• Overseeing the monitoring and control of the positions in the trading books on a real-time basis to make sure that business activities remain within the pre-defined risk appetite
• Drafting summaries to keep everyone informed and up to date with the latest information and activity
• Actively contributing to the continuous improvement of the risk framework
• Building, maintaining and improving risk reports and tools
• Data collection & reporting

Who You Are:

• An Undergraduate or Master’s degree in a quantitative or STEM related subject
• A proactive and analytical mindset with an eye for detail
• Strong interpersonal skills and an eagerness to continuously improve
• Strong coding skills and an understanding of Python, or similar programming language
• Basic understanding of options pricing theory
• A keen interest in the financial markets
• Authorisation to work in the UK
