Do you love solving complex and unique challenges? Have a strong analytical skillset? Join Optiver’s Insight Days program to discover your potential in Technology and Trading.

Insight Days: Women in Tech & Trading is an exclusive program that’s designed to introduce women to the fascinating world of market making. This program is specific to women with a planned graduation date of Winter 2026 through Spring 2028. 

During the 2-day hands-on program, you will:
  • Dive into the core fundamentals of trading, gain unique insights into our world-class trading systems and start to develop the set of key skills that our traders use in their day-to-day roles. 
  • Explore our tech pathways and learn how our cutting-edge techniques keep us at the forefront of financial markets globally.
  • Receive mentorship and support from our renowned educators, traders and software engineers.
  • Get a taste of Optiver’s incredible culture and enjoy our perks and benefits, including daily breakfast, lunch, coffee and more.
  • Enjoy networking events with traders, engineers and recruiters.
Who you are

You’re an inquisitive, critical thinker who thrives off of innovating new solutions. When you’re told that something “just is,” you immediately dissect it to understand the “why.” You’re a strong believer in the power of collaborative problem solving, and you’re excited to test yourself in one of the most competitive areas of the financial market.

Eligible applicants for this program are:

  • Women with a planned graduation date of Winter 2026 through Spring 2028
  • Students working toward a degree in a STEM field
  • Studying at a US or Canadian university

Please note: A technical assessment is required to be considered for Insight Days. Eligible candidates will receive assessment information after their application is submitted.
