We believe our company culture is one of our most valuable assets and key for our long term sustainability. Optiver started in 1986 with just one Dutch trader on the floor in Amsterdam and today we employ around 600 people of over 35 nationalities in offices on four continents. As a result, our company is a melting pot of cultures, behaviours and habits.

Despite the strong growth we have always managed to maintain a highly informal atmosphere and relatively flat organisational structure. And for a reason - as we believe this provides our employees with the flexibility they need to be creative, to research their ideas and to act upon them.

Continuous improvement is one of our core values that we seek both as a company as well as from our employees, and in terms of strategy we intend to do the same. We strive to strengthen our company culture along with the personal development of our employees and with a profound importance of ethics.
